Petra

A beautiful traditional village in the Northwest part of Lesvos Island, with a long sandy beach. Its biggest attraction is the imposing rock – a volcanic neck – of 40 meters located in the center of the settlement. The church of Virgin Mary dominates the cliff top. Built in 1724, it has 114 carved steps that will lead you to the top. Petra has a fully organized beach were you can do water sports and scuba diving. There are hotels, restaurants and bars, most of which are right next to the sea.
Molyvos village

Mithymna or Molyvos. The birthplace of Arion, the ancient citharode and lyric poet and favorite spot for poets, painters and intellectuals from all over the world. Molyvos inspires with its unique charm, its imposing fortress, the picturesque harbour full of fishing boats and taverns, the famous cobbled alleyways shaded by the dominant wisteria, the traditional market, the mansions and the old fountains, the hanging balconies of restaurants and patisseries. Along the bay of Molyvos, there are hotels, restaurants, bars and two beaches – one pebbled and the other sandy.
